How to read these numbers
- Figures are hourly wages paid to employees, before tax, from Job Bank's 2025 wages. They don't include non-wage benefits.
- Low is roughly the 10th percentile, median the middle and high roughly the 90th percentile. Job Bank notes the wages don't account for years of experience, though the low figure may give some idea of entry-level pay.
- Wages are for the NOC group, which can be broader than the Red Seal trade.
- Most provincial figures come from the Labour Force Survey (2023–2024). The territories mostly use Statistics Canada's Small Area Estimation. A dash means Job Bank didn't publish a figure.
- Apprentice pay isn't shown separately; ask your apprenticeship authority or employer.
